FUCCCCK, my AC is doing the same ******* thing! theres no way im doing all this ****.
anyway of diagnosing to be sure that it is the evaporator?

have someone put the sniffer under your dash.

When you have a shop fill the ac system with dye, check the evaporator drain on the firewall. It is right under the condenser. That is the only way for the dye to make it out if the evaporator is leaking. Definetilly take it to a shop to diagnoss the problem. And I HIGHLY recommend having them replace the evaporator (if that is what it is) if you can afford it.
