Default Adding TPMS to 03+ Silverado

Your truck must already have remote key-less entry, as far as I know, for this to work. The key-less entry and TPMS are controlled through the passenger side door module. What you need is a PDM from a tahoe/yukon/escalade that already has TPMS, and the TPMS sensors. Swap the new PDM in the truck, perform the key-less remote relearn and the TPMS sensor relearn, and you are done!

Safety. If I let someone else drive my truck and a tire goes low the light will come on. I know what a low tire looks like but does your wife/daughter/girlfriend? Plus TPMS didn't come factory on my 2004, so it was cool that I was able to add it.

Added the new PDM, programmed the sensors to the truck, haven't set the pressures yet....

Anyone know how to get the TPMS to display in the DIC? I've pressed dang near every button on the steering wheel to get the to show, so far nothing.

My truck you can't see the individual tire pressure anyways.

So are you telling me that I can change to a 2003 and delete TPMS? I really want to do that. Are these modules VIN matched? Can I just swap modules from a 2003. I have a 2004 Yukon Denali.

I believe I've identified what exactly I need to get the specific tire pressures to show, my gauge cluster is not dual digital. What I mean by that is my cluster does not have digital PRNDL, the letters on printed onto my cluster backing, with a small selector light beneath each one of them.

To get the system to work (granted I have all the components required, including the RPO for steering wheel controls), all I need is this:

Girlfriend has a truck with a dual digital gauge cluster, I've going to try hers out in my truck first before I submit the purchase.

As far as the TPMS delete, in my truck, all I have todo is swap my PDM out for a non-TPMS model. Instantly deletes TPMS.

I'm curious what you find. I have the PDM, but I haven't installed it as I don't have sensors in my tires yet.
