I run one. Its nice when you pop a code and you are away from your laptop. Scan it and clear it and move on. I carry a list of codes and diagnosis in the center console.

I got mine brand new for $100 shipped. Great gauge. Cant say I would need more than one, but it does a lot.

I got it from Wester's Performance.. the vendor/tuner from Denalitrucks.com
He had 4 left of a certain style and was selling them for $100 shipped. I purchased one. Not sure if he still has the other three or not. I havent been able to log into Denalitrucks lately though, not sure what the problem is there..
