after getting out of the navy i had to get a new license since my old one was expired. ok no biggy, i go down there with my DD214, old DL and SS card and i'm thinking i should be in and out. well this chick (wearing a state trooper uniform) acts like i need every bill i get at my house to prove my address is correct before i can get a damn license. then she starts to berate me for having an expired license to begin with. so i explain to her that if you are on active duty, certain states will allow for you have an expired license. still not good enough. she wanted to have me ticketed for driving on it and not being in the navy anymore. granted, my last day was last thursday. but come on! finally i produced my tag receipt and she went ahead and gave me a new license. but what a PITA. wtf gives. are all dmv people like that.

 

only the ones in uniform and that are missing some hardware. from my experiances. if you caome accross one of those again just turn around and go to another one. i have about 3 or 4 DMV's around me that i can go to. dont know how they are there in your neck of the woods. but gald that she gave you one anyways.

 

i think we only have like 40 to 50K people in my town, so we can only afford one. my wife knows who she is and said she was as dumb as a box of rocks in school. makes me wonder who she slept with to get that job..lol

There bad in northern California too . If I was a DMV *******.... I mean employee I would try to work with the person and not try to get them in trouble and if they were in the armed forces, fireman, ect. I would damn sure let them drive and not charge them for registration, renewal fees, ect. but if I worked there and did that I'd probly get fired, and that would be embarasing.

Nope, not here in Jackson Co. You just go in there, give them your twenty bucks, they take you picture and you are out of there. My parents address is still on my DL and I havent lived there in 6 years.

 

i think it is just me, i must have this aura around me that makes people think i am an ******* so they jump on the offensive first. who knows. but yea that girl definantly needed to be pimp slapped
