no you cant bore a 5.3 to a 6.0... i think max on a 5.3 is 5.7 ... get a 6.0 if your going to do a swap...

The aluminum block 5.3's (L33) are about 100 lbs lighter then the iron ones, They are a option on 05 and up 1500 ECSB 4x4's only.
