Default American Racing wheels?

How good are they?According to some they are awsome and others have had bad experiences with them like the finish chipping off really bad when they were stored for the winter. How much can I exspect to pay for a whole set?

not sure on anything above since I just got 3 of mine, and one lost by ups and then damaged by ups. My thought is when you do by them ask them to be shipped from someone else besides UPS, later and good luck.

I haven't had any problems with mine at all. Price all depends on size/style/finish

So it sounds like American Racing wheels arent worth the trouble? What would the average cost be of a chrome 15x8 or 15x10 not sure on style yet?

This is exactly what happened to mine, I posted a pic in his other thread. Complete junk. I hate them and they are worthless to sell in their condition.

Anyone have suggestions of a good company without issues like the finish cracking peeling etc? Equal to the large selection of American Racing wheels?

I won't buy another set of wheels unless they are Centerline, Bonspeed, Intro, or Budnik. You get what you pay for.

so very true... now that doesnt mean you gotta go out and pay $300-400 a wheel... you should be able to find a nice set for $175-$250 depending on the size
