mine are just polished so no clear to get foggy. they were the best price for what i needed and i haven't had any problems with them. for most wheels to get the exact size and back spacing we need it ends up costing $400/wheel. these were $950 for all 4 of them and i got the 6" bs that i wanted.

Ok so if I do get rims from American racing I would probably be best off going with the teflon coated rims? What style/finish of wheels do you have Parish?

I'd go with anything from them except their clearcoated wheels...especially if you live in a Northern climate. I had clearcoated Outlaw IIs on my old S-10 ZR2 that peeled around the centercaps after a few years. Around here, even factory clearcoated rims get sh!tty after a few winters. I had polished 16x8 Atlases on my Z71, but only for one summer...no problems w/ them, though. At the time I got them BN for about $400 shipped. Anyways, their Teflon, polished, and chrome wheels seem to be of decent quality if you can't afford/don't want to spend big $$ on other brands.

the teflon coated ones are the offroad teflon-coated series - they WILL advertise the fact that they are teflon coated - they are a dark dark brown

If you go to their site it will tell you if they are clear coated, polished, chrome, etc.

i dont think they offer the option of every wheel being teflon. youll know cause like my boy nightrunner said, their a dark color as opposed to the normal silver or chrome... plus like everyone else said it will be advertised, id say just stay away from the cleared ones, they suck ***
