I have a 03 silverado and when I put it on drive it has a high idle and throttle body is not closed all the way

Is it cable driven or electronic. If its cable then there should be a bump stop screw were the camber attaches to the cable . Manually open then throttle body and you will see a screw that screws up . It should be a Allen key that's what it was on mine and just turn the screw counter clockwise to allow it to close more. If its a electronic. Then it has to be adjust by a scan tool Or tune because it's controlled the throttle position sensor. I hope this helps.
