So are you buying 2 new tires just to burn off in the contest? Most contests have some tire company sponcor them and the winner gets a new set of tires, but all the ones who just have fun and dont win get nothing.

i am not buying the tires, one is my spare and the other is another guys spare. i have the tires i am pulling off my truck this week to put back on the spare rims if i do blow up the tires.

the winner does get a set of tires. no idea what that means. if they were free and my choice i would get 4 nittos 555r, super short but i bet the would kick *** at the track.

Another guys spare. hahhahaha

I hope you do win. Some times you get a wide choice, but usualy they only have certian selections and sizes. Some Nitto DRs on all 4 corners would get that thing out of the hole in a hurry. Maybe even get a high 1.5 60'.

Good luck and get some video.

i am going for a 1.5 this weekend. puting on some perilli 285/65's and see if that helps. i sure hope it doesn't hurt, i would hate to spend $600 and find out the stock firestones hook better.

Do you not like bling and get some 18" rims where there are more options for sticky tires?

Put a small coat of vasoline on the inside of your fenderwells so when you have to clean that crap off it will come off a lot easier. I guess that is if you don't have a ton of rubber built up on them already

get a good video of it

Some burnout contests I have seen they tie your rearend up to something like a big truck so that you don't move forward at all. If that is the case, be sure to bleach the front tires too, and punch the 4hi button
