Has it spun on the crank and started to crack out? Am I seeing that correctly?

One might think so but there are not any marks on the crank as if it did spin and the bolt was still torqued down..

It was just a little hard to tell from the pic of the snout if that was galling or not. I have no experience with ASP myself but it seems like their material is too brittle if it started cracking like that.

If the pulley had spun on the crank shouldnt the pulley have been gauled (sp?) up??? Cause there's material from the crank stuck inside the pulley..

Never heard of anybody putting anti-seize on one before...

When i took the Powerbond off the tbss (which the bolt came loose 3 times) the crank looks spotless....

the crank on mine looked simular but not near as bad, i use anti seize when putting my crank pulley on, but what i do is, i wipe it off but leave the glaze, it keeps it from seizing onto the crank.. i just use scotch brite and clean it up.
