Anyone ever shorten RCLB to RCSB??

I don't believe that it would work since that's the area of the frame where it's humped for the rear axle...

ive always had this idea in the back of my mind for making a RCSB duramax

i toyed with the idea of a rcsb dmax myself. My friend and I cut down a 3/4 ton sclb 91 model chevy truck so it could be a swb and we bagged it. I belive it was 18" out of the frame. Common knowledge but make sure you brace the frame were you cut it to make sure that it stays true, i have seen some people not do that and the truck is sideways when they are done! Here are some pics of the truck we cut the frame on!
