The ratio I've gone by, was 1 ounce to 5 Gal or about 5 ounces to a tank full. Like I've said, close to 2 gallon though my truck without any problems, and haven't heard of ANYONE that has ever had any problem caused by it on the internet, and I looked into it a lot before I tried it.

 

Not to bring up an old thread, but i have been doing this for the past month, it seems to raise my range on my dic about 50-60 miles. id say my driving is pretty consistent, tried to drive with same habbits as before. I also quit using it for about 4 or 5 tanks and my range did go back down, so go figure, it seems to work for me...

 

we used to run it before....been a long time since i've ran it. Maybe i'll have to use it, say i get 50miles more per tank, i'd be pushing damn near 560miles per tank if i would ever just cruise anymore. lately my mpg has gotten down to 19-20ish because im a sucker for power.

 

Down to 19-20? I do mostly in-town driving and i get 10. . I want whatever you have!

 

well my town is 1,300 people lol, my entire county pop. is under 20,000 people lol. So basically with the 5spd having a better gear ratio, ontop of my 3.42's it works out pretty good. I cruise at 60mph and my rpm is around 1700.
