I'm still running it, have been for about 3-4 months. No side affects, other then the 1-2 MPG that it seems to give me. I like it.

I did it for about 5 tankfulls, it seems to help more with non-reformulated gasoline(no alky). About two to three oz per 10 gallons was the ration from what I remember.

Check this link out.

I got a 1oz-1/8 cup metal coffee scoop and put about one of those in for each 5 gallons of gas. The acetone is about 5 bucks a quart at any hardware store. that treats about 160 gallons of gas. Its pretty cheep.

I'm going to try this today. I've been meaning too, but the recent increase in gas prices has got me motivated.

I just added some today for the first time. Hopefully it works. From what I read it will increase octane but very minimally at 2oz per 10 gallons of gas. Something like 93 octane will become 93.01 octane. Something like that.

yes it supposed to boost it a little becuase the octane rating for acetone is like 150, but you must realize you only add 2 oz. per 10 gallons of gas. soooo..... i think someone said like 1 octane. but it is supposed to give you 2-5 mpg depending on the vehicle.

also, does this only work on fuel injected vehicles or could it be used in a cabuerated vehicle?
