Default Anyone swap gauge cluster out of a car(gto) to a truck

I was looking at my buddies GTO and the speedo goes up to 200mph and the tach goes up to 7k rpms is there anyway to make it work in my truck i didn't know if it will just plug in or what. I know i'd have to custom mount it and stuff but that would be the easy part.

i'm sure it wouldn't just plug in. with the pin schematics for the cluster and the schematics for the wiring in the truck, you could probably make it work. but it wouldn't be easy.

I'm sure the calibration in the PCM is all different... I think it'd probably be more trouble than it would turn out to be worth. JMHO though.

Talk with Speartech. I bet they could make one work with a truck.

Good luck, that car has a different BCM....it will never work with the truck.

you should just do some custom autometer gauges, I think 2toneblown did this, looked pretty good. Then you could have any tach or speedo you wanted.
