I don't think I've ever ran my truck stock. I had a Volant, 160* thermo and e-fans on it before it rfolled over 1k miles. The first time I took it to the track was after the headers went on and the exhaust was done in less than 5k mile. I have NO idea what it ran then. I know after the shift kit, servos, and converter it would turn out a 14.35 if it would hook. I used to have the dambdest time getting the differential to lock. Never occured to me to drive AROUND the burnout box.

Why should I have been running better, I read a lot of guys running low 15's here and there and some in the 14's and people talk about how the high 14 second chevy's seem to be really fast

Hey guys, I'll still be there tomorrow. I've got a bunch of heat cycles to do though. I fugure 150-200 miles of heat-cycling should do, right?
I'm definitly gonna be running, just pray for my gears!

A 15.2 is damn good!- My best time in the middle of the summer was a 15.8 about 3 times the last time I raced. What I was saying is that I thought your truck would have been faster stock than what you said it was. Well the 20's are fixing to come off and the INDY 500's on!

I'm getting ready for this. I got called out for a job on Saturday morning, but I made it clear I have prior 'engagements' that 'can't be broken' for Saturday evening.
