Csi indeed that was the first thing that i thought then the fact that there was not enough of it the second but seriously though they might be able to find something with that stuff and now hearing that our trucks alarms suck makes me want to get a new alarm

i know this is very late info to give out to you, sorry for your loss man.
but maybe some else wants to protect their truck.

fuel system power off switch.
1. find the hot wire to the fuel pump in the tank.
2. cut wire.
3. disconect power to extra cig lighter
4. remove extra cig lighter.
5. install push button power switch.
6. add same color wire to hot wire for fuel pump, run wire back to fire wall, find a way too run wire in through fire wall to in side for new power switch.
7. run wire from power switch back through fire wall too the fuel pump.
8. test to make sure you did it right, turn off switch, turn on key, listen for fuel pump to prim pressure, if no sound when key is on half way done,
turn on new switch, listen for fuel pump to prim, if pump comes on system done right.
9. flip down cover to hide switch.
10. if you say nothing, no one will know it is their
11. easy to put back to normal for trade in.

this little 25.00 job will take 35.00 a month off of your full covarge insurance bill, it is called a theft deturent system.
