I blew out a line on my bike and the fender hit the rear tire. I had to repaint it and now it has a bump stop so this doesn't happen again.

DO IT!! I love mine!! Rides like a dream and handles awesome!! I got A.R.T. front end kit UCA and LCA with bags. And custom fabricated triangulated 4 link w/ shockwaves in rear. I am more than happy with my A.R.T. products.

I have heard that A.R.T. makes some good products. The front kit with the UCA, LCA, and shockwaves is probably the easiest. Personally, I like the slam specialties bag with custom mounts in the A.R.T. control arms. The bags are superstrong and would work really well on the front of a heavy truck. Rated at over 250 psi! The only downside is that you have know true alignment and if you drive your truck daily, you may want to maximize tire wear. Also, failure are usually a result of installation, and not the product itself. But, a bag failure results in an undrivable truck.

The rear is what scares me. A four link is a sweet set up, but be careful on which one. I have heard great things about KP components. My friend has the A.R.T. and his rear end moves when he step on it. Having a four link hold up with airbags and a supercharger may be a problem. The panhard bars sometims dont do the trick for side to side action. The bolt on kits still require cutting and drilling and you may be better off with a weld on kit for strength.

I seriously considered airbags for about a year and decided thats not where I wanted to go. Adjustable suspension is definately bad ***, but sometimes can come at the cost of reliability. Hope this helps.

Brian, the cracking I have seen on truck is at the panhard bar mount. KP will send you a backing plate which will spread the load over a bigger area. I've heard the only people who have had this issue are those who bolt the panhard on, if you were to weld it on, from what I've read you shouldn't have any issues. My friend bought the KP 4 link with Canti for his 85 Chevy and it is a well designed kit.
