I have a 2005 1500 2wd Short bed (5'8")(short short bed) and I found a BakFlip G2 for a 2008+ for the same size bed.

After extensive research and confirmation that all 2008-2024 5'8" beds use the same G2 tonneau cover just different rails, I am trying to determine if the same is true for 1999-2007c.

Comparing dimensions, weight, etc shows that they are all identical, but I thought someone here might have experienced it.

Well, I came across a very similar brand for a 2024 Silverado 2wd Crew Cab super short bed and everything bolted on and works great.

So it looks like 199-2024 hard tonneau covers are all interchangeable for this configuration.
