Default base rcsb silverado upgrade options

Ok here is the deal. I bought a pewter 2000 RCSB base model truck. It has the 4.3 v6, manual locks and windows. I thought these things wouldnt be too big of a deal to live w/o pl and pw but it is. it lacks power and i can barley reach the pass window let alone do it while im driving. So these things i feel must be replaced. So here is the question should i upgrade these options on this truck or would it be more cost effective to just go out and find another truck w/ these options already on? Im kind of torn on what to do. all imput is appreciated.

it's not terribly hard to add power windows or locks. If you have the knowhow to do it, then I would just keep your truck. If you plan on paying somebody to do it, you could end up spending $2000 on that stuff.

Id stick with the manual stuff if I could do it again, simply and easy to fix, alot less chances of something going wrong with it

well im not concerned as much about the pl/pw option but the motor that will kill me. I would need to purchase it with pcm new motor mounts etc plus on top of all that get a beater car while i do the swap. So im leaning twards buying one w/ a 5.3 and going from there because its going cost thousands plus insurance on a 2nd vehicle blah blah blah. Im still not quite sure though.

stick with your truck and mod it slow. You will save a lot of money if you build a stout 6.0 while you drive around with your 4.3, then if you get fucked trading it back in and starting all over.
