Battery dead every 4 days... causes?

That's good to hear. I had same prob on my truck 84c10 wit 97tbi. Dang thing kept draining battery replaced battery, alt, starter, alarm. Mechanic couldn't figure it out, took to alarm shop replaced wit new alarm. Still no luck. Said hell wit it an put a lsx an new wiring, prob fixed. Glad urs won't cost as much to fix lol

Fingers crossed that will be it and I will have gotten off around $500 total for the fix. Going to have to show my tuning friend some gratitude as well for the suggestion to reflash the BCM.
