Default Bed Liner (RUG)

My new truck is coming in a couple weeks (ECSB VortecMax) and I've been thinking I don't want the regular plastic bed liner. I've been looking at a carpeted liner called a Bed Rug made by a company called Wise. I've also been considering the GM liner called a bed rug liner P/N 12499436 about $318.00 at GM parts direct. My question is does anybody know which one is better and why? The GM one (parts Direct picture) looks like a one piece unit. I haven't seen the Bed Rug brand. I would appreciate any comments.
Thanks
Jim

they are the same part. i'd recomend getting the gm one though and having it put in before you pick the truck up. that will put the bed rug under the 3/36 warrenty and if you have any problems with it gm will be responsible for taking care of it. the one from gm also has better styling.

It's a bottom piece and a side piece that zips together.

Talking Bed Rug

Its a cool product, its soft to kneel on and the fit is great. I have the Bed rug in my Sierra. No complaints and once it is zipped together it looks seamless.
Is your new truck a crew SSB??

How much does the bedrug weigh in comparison to a plastic drop in or a roll in or spray on? Bedrug looks the best IMO.

Default bed rug

really light weight as its just foam and marine carpet. I would,nt get a plastic liner, they chaffe the paint and collect debris.

CARGUY
My new truck is a extended cab short box (6'6"). I didn't need the Crew cab. I'm also putting a cap on it. I've been looking at Leer, Raider, Century, and A.R.E. So far I like the A.R.E. It's either put the cap on or shovel the snow out!
