I Just Boughts A 2008 GMC Sierra With A 5.4L Regular Cab Its Bone Stock And Want Know Whats Best Upgrades Want To Go Fast And Also Ride On 28's have about 5K To Spend On Performance alone For Now

Going fast and 28s don't go together. Unless your talking about tire size. And assume your talking about the 5.3L

28s? lol sorry bro but 28s and trying to go fast is really hard to do unless u do a supercharger or turbo

Never heard of a 5.4L engine. The typical performance route is air intake and headers/exhaust followed by a tune. Next is usually a cam. However, not only do you have huge heavy wheels to deal with, you also live in Californication which limits you to CARB legal parts. Not a lot you can do about that I'm afraid. You can still do shorty headers and a tune, that's good for maybe 25 hp.

dude you got a 1 off gm motor under your hood, you should leave it alone. probably going to be worth alot of coin down the road..

My suburban has a 5.4, but it got bored when I built it. That .1 oversize is good for 150 hp, 331 CI monsta!

I've seen F-150s running LS engines but never thought I'd see a 5.4 in a gmt800/900 GM......

Why stop at 28s? Lift it and put 30s
