Wrap a 2-3" piece of metal pipe with duct tape and roll it between your fender and wheels. Best way is to have a friend put it in drive and just creep up on the pipe to make sre you can reach the right angle and roll forward. If the temp is lower than 75 degrees it would be good to heat up the paint a little with a heat gun to avoid cracking your paint too much. The results are usually prety uniform and no random hammer dings.

I wouldn't roll it!..........Cut it. Up north that is a bad mistake, it will trap dirt and moisture and will rust. Just tape it up good ,draw a line where you want your cut, use a cut off wheel and go slow to keep the heat down then clean up the sharp edge with a file . You'll want to touch up the raw metal with some paint and when done you won't be able to tell . You will have to fill the gap from the panel to the inner wheel well using urathane not silicone. I've done trucks, Camaros, Impala SS's, it works.
