Removed some westin step bars because of fitment problems. I am trying to track donw the body mount bolt torque specs for an 04 Yukon. Westin says 63 lb ft. but this sounds a little light to me. Called dealer and got a "Gee, ya know I am not really sure" and got the run around.

Can anyone help me out here? Just need to know if 63 lb ft is right and if not, what are the torque specs for these body mount bolts? TIA for ANY ideas, help, links....etc.

63 ft lbs... thats a pretty good amount of torque, more than we put on engine parts that vibrate like a mother!

no prob... if it was in inch pounds.. then i would be questioning it...

put thread lock on the mo fos ad tighten then down as tight as you can get them with a 1/2" ratchet.
