borat movie scoop?
i am almost %99 sure this thread doesnt go here lol but o well alot of ppl look here... everyone i know is takling about it, have ANY of you guys seen that Borat movie. what the hells the big deal with it, i heard its like being banned in like so many diff countries

Does any one know how many references to GM was in the movie, that might help this thread stay in this section instead of getting whisked away to the eastern section. (beastmode is PA, eastern would assumably be his "local truck stop)or was there any new GM's in the movie?

Borat is culturally insensitive. Actually, that is an understatement. The movie is offensive on so many different levels. Borat is a guy from Kazakhstan and has a completely different view on the world than we do. For example: he thinks Jews are the most evil people in the world, who are out to get him. There is a scene where he believes they have shape shifted into cockroaches. There is also a 5 minute naked guy on guy fist fight, culminating in one guys ***** in the others face. Borat also ***** into a bag and hands it to his host at a party (since he knows nothing of toilets), then invites a black hooker to a southern dinner hosted by a family that lives on Secession Lane. Also, he goes to a women's rights group. This wouldn't be bad except he has a 3rd century view on women i.e. they are not smart, are good for nothing but taking care of men, etc. He goes to a Rodeo and says things like "I support your war of terror in Iraq. I hope George Bush will drink the blood of the men, women, and children of the infidel Iraqi's." To crown it all, he sings his national anthem, sung to the tune of the star spangled banner, but with lines like, "Kazakhstan is the greatest country in the world/ All the rest are run by little girls."
Overall the movie was hilarious. If you are easily offended by pointless things, do not see the movie. The naked guy scene is classic. It ends with Borat chasing a 300 pound naked man into an investors meeting with a huge fist *****.
