I have front and rear pads and cryogenically treated slotted rotors from a company called Praise Dyno, and I couldn't be happier. I've had them on there for about 4 years now, and they're wearing great, with no noise (knock on wood), and acceptable dust (more than the factory ceramic pads but much less than most performance pads). Just the pads and rotors alone gave me an improvement in the brake feel and performance.

From what I researched a few years back when I bought the brakes, Praise Dyno is a small mom and pop's shop from Texas...you should be able to find their website through google (can't provide a link as they're a non-sponsor)

I don't know about EBC rotors, I have used their green stuff pads on my camaro and liked them. What I have on my Z71 now is SSBC slotted rotors and Carquest GOLD pads. The truck stops better than anything I have EVER driven. The pads for all four wheel will be about 200+/- depending on where you go, but they are worth every penny. I still have to put them on my SSS. Those pads are the only thing that I will ever buy for a factory system again.

I'm at 90k and the truck is 7 years old. You're on your first pads and I'm on my (5th and 3rd?) and it's time for another set in the rear right now and maybe the front too.

I'd like to hear what works for making them last longer and stop better w/o going bigger bc I have 16" wheels
My GM original equip. went 120k miles. Replaced with Wagner pads that only went 40k. Replaced those with Delco ceramic and now have 44k and going strong.

Man i dont know.. but i dont exactly take it easy on my truck.. i run it hard and i tow with it... but 172.5k miles on stock brakes is pretty dang good i think..

I went with the EBC Ultimax Rotors and EBC 6000 Series Green Stuff Pads.

All was great bedding the pads and rotors till i was on the way home.. busted a brake line... so when i got home i just put my new SS lines on and man what a difference!!!
wish i would have done this alot sooner!!! Its amazing of how much better this thing stops!
