DBA slotted rotors and Hawk HPS pads here, performance is very good, a bit of noise from the pads but not too bad. A bit of dust but that's to be expected out of performance pads I guess.

I've had this combo for around 20k miles and the pads seem to have 40-50% life left, I know this sucks but that's what heavy traffic & city driving do to brakes. Heck, I only got 45k miles out of the stockers.

I think carbotech's 1521 pads, They are a little more expensive, but seem to have fairly good reviews for street driving. I also think I'm going to go with normal sized rotors. but should i go with EBC slotted or the advance auto specials (wagner)

Is try to do a little bit larger motor, less fade and wear and tear under normal driving conditions too.

Unless you're going with a bigger rotor setup, I'd probably just go with an aftermarket factory replacement...with a warranty, so if they do start to pulsate you can just get them replaced for free
