brake squeeking after install

Default brake squeeking after install

i installed my rear brakes today and the one rear passenger in squeeking.what could be causing this the rotor was new but it was a little hung up . Maybe the emergency brake needs adjusting?

Take it back apart and look??

Could be anything from the metal tins rubbing the rotor, something with the park brake shoes, maybe a bent dust shield.

Default double check

will take apart soon the dust shield was toast rusted through in spots and those metal clips might be rubbing some where, how could the brand new clips be rubbing maybe i was supposed to bend them out of the way??

I honestly hate new clips/tins.

They never fit right. I normally clean the old clips up and re-use them.

Maybe the clips are not seated properly or possibly there not manufactured correctly.

Also make sure the backing plate is not rubbing.
