A) You better look again. It was removed months ago.
B) One thread out of hundreds isn't to bad. Once in a while some can go by (just like they do in here), it just isn't common place for this site and won't become that. Oh yea, and there are a couple of "semi NWS" pics in there to. Try not to get to nit picky, you know what the major content is and should be. You also don't have people bashing and showing all out **** in that thread. It has been edited pretty well and some by me. Besides, if you know it's there, then there won't be a need for two.
C) Where does it say "tech only"? It's not going to be a "Chatroom". The site is about and for "tech". The lounges are for that "time to take a break", but NOT what the site is ment for. There are other places for just cutting loose.

I agree this shouldnt get out of hand and stupid like it had once before, and agree there shouldnt be naked women all over the place or anything that is distasteful or just plain not good as most my viewing/posting comes from when I have some down time at work during my 12hr work day.
