Default burned engine

what do you think about buying a burned engine, or the car was i a fire type of engine or long block?

i have a few friends that bought burned motors doing good with no problems

It should be fine, all new gaskets, and make sure nothing got down into the intake runners of the heads, if that all looks good I would think twice about buying one.

See if the intake melted at all. If it has a melted runner/s chances are water got down in there as they put the fire out. Open valve..... You know the rest of that one. Or the water just sat in the intake runner on top of the closed valve.

You gonna tear it down before you run it?

well i really want to build a 6.0 but i am not real sure if it will fly but i have found some burned ones for ceap, but i was going to tear it down.
