There was just a thread on this. Did you search? This is kinda common with the dual climate thing.

I've read that blend door actuators are a common failure that cause the symptoms you're describing...

You need a new actuator like stated above mine also did the same thing Just remember to put the heat in the middle position before installing. its right under the middle of your console hidden by a plastic cover.

ya its the actuator. there are two located on the truck and you need to replace to one under the dash.. mine just did this also but it was covered under warranty...

what do the 2 different actuators do? I realize they direct air......does one control temp (next to the evap) and the other direct where it's blowing out (defrost, face, feet)???

Mine blows cold.....but when set on face, it blows onto face for about 30 seconds, then goes to defrost\feet, sometimes just feet...... I just bought the truck this last friday, and it was working great for a few hours...then started this ****. Anyone have part #'s and aprox. price for these damn things?

Thanks in advance.
