Default A/C and Horsepower

How much horsepower does the A/C compressor usually pull? Sometimes mine seems like it loosing a lot when the compressor kicks on....? Just curious

Anybody checked this? Horsepower w/out A/C and horsepower w/A/C?

The A/C compressor kicks off when WOT. and at certain RPMS.. so are you talkin about at idle? PT? WOT?

P/T...Just easing into it from a light or what not, when the compressor kicks on it falls on its face!

MINE DOES TOO..... IT IS FINE AT WOT, BUT A P/T ITS A DOG..... BEEN HAVING SOME OTHER RANDOM MISSFIRE ISSUES WITH MY A/C ON TOO.... IS YOURS DOING THE SAME THING?

That's nothing, I have a 05' GMC 5.3, and try kicking on the recirc. pump and the a/c at the same time, talk about a dog out of the hole. But the a/c works great!!

PCM pulls a lot of timing when the A/C pump kicks on. Did on mine anyway. Found an option to disable it in HPT. Now I've shredded one A/C belt. Dunno if they were related.

Man, you guys all live down south- shouldn't you just be happy to have a strong AC system Hell you guys would prob. still be in long shirts and pants at what I consider hot I'm a total heat wuss so anything much past 75 and the A/cs on...
