I ask because i have to hide all this crap from my folks and i don't want to break anything. That and sleepers are just fun. Oh yeah and these cams do i have to do lifters an all that or will jsut valvesprings do the trick.

These are roller tapet lifters and there is virtually no break in process where the lifter must be mated to the lobe like traditional flat tappet lifters. To answer your Question, No you dont need lifters. You just need springs and prolly hardened pushrods just to be safe.

So if i were you i would prolly either go with the one of the Z06 cams or that comp212/218 114.
