it adds up fast. youll need to get a good stall converter to handle the cam, the cam, springs, retainers and a tune. we need a smiley with empty pockets

yea, its too bad i have a lady who smiles when my pockets are empty!
Im really lookin forward to gettin some more serious stuff for my truck.

i love that sound z28 next time im up in stillwater for an osu game ill be sure to try and get a hold of you to meet up. Hopefully ill have my cam in my 99 4.8 by then. Looking at thunders cam. do you have the same and if its different whats it like? does it pull in the low rpms? thanks! Nice truck

mines just what most people call a shelf cam from comp nothing special its in there catalog for the LS1's part number from comp 54-426-11

look in the multimedia section i have the vid and dyno graph posted up

dual open cutouts..

and total install was
400 for the cam
100 for install kit
100 for oil pump
50 for oil, and filter
160 for valve springs
$XXX for tuning
and depending on where you have it installed,
any where from free to $500
best case scenerio total would be 600-800
I found good deals on several items for the install, so I kept my total price down..
just keep your eyes open for discounts, and watch what and who you buy from..
just do some research on what you might be getting

Hey did you do you figure on Hardened/Moly pushrods? I got mine at HPE for like $140 but i bought them on locationand im sure you can get a good set on Ebay for like $100.
