I have a friend that has a Bullitt also, that MF'er is a turd, but he doesnt know how to drive either. My friend with the GT beat him by 3 cars and the Bullitt has mods

craziness, must have a 4.8L in that stang instead of the 4.6.

Fromwhat I have read, Stock GT's run from 13.9-14.5depending on elevation and weather. Mach1's .5 better. So I would say no way a 5.3 ext cab would have a prayer.

I have seen stock 5sp 99+ GT run high 13 to low 14's. Auto's I have seen the in the high 14's.

It's all on driver and traction.

GTs with your normal driver and street tires run 14.0-14.4.

Geta decent driver and you're looking at 13.8s.

Add slicks and 13.6 are not to far off the mark.


Mach1's are a solid low 13sec car if you can drive it.

This car is pretty sweet for mainly suspension mods.

I have seen them run 14.0 stock at the track many times.

The 99+ are like 260 right?? Pre- 99 was around 225, correct?? How many pounds of boost would I need to run to beat the newer ones?? I guess Ive got an extreme weight disadvantage.
