Default Can someone confirm these part numbers for me?

I just got my nickel plated slip-yoke and rear u-joint from my local dealer where I'm friends with the parts manager. I gave him the PN for the yoke (that I got on here), and he looked up the PN for the rear u-joint using my VIN. He mentioned how the front and rear u-joints are the same part number, but comparing the u-joint that came on the yoke to the one for the rear, they are completely different. The front joint is a Spicer, and the caps are visibly smaller than the ones for the rear. Something doesn't match...either I got the wrong yoke part number, my buddy gave me a wrong part (doubtful since he used my VIN and has always been perfect in the past), or the front and rear joints actually are different (which is what I'm hoping but not holding my breath). So here we go...

VIN: 1GCEK14T4XZ107374

Yoke PN: 12477702

Rear U-Joint PN: 12479126

and for the heck of it...

Transfer case pump retaining clip PN: 89059653

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks John, it just seems wierd to me that the front and rear u-joints are different sizes, I thought that that they'd be the same, and my buddy who is the parts manager mentioned that they're the same also (although anybody can make a mistake).

It'll probably be a while before I get a chance to get the driveshaft out (with the holidays and everything), so I wanted to know for sure so I'm not trying to return month old parts if I have to

Thanks for the help as always John...I was starting to think that maybe one u-joints or the yoke was for an extra cab or something, if the parts are different...I could always find out the hard way. Maybe I can try to squeeze some time this weekend to remove my driveshaft and match em up.

They're different designs too...the yoke/u-joint is a Spicer, and the rear u-joint has the plastic caps, which the front doesn't have, and the rear isn't a Spicer...just seems wierd...

Well, I PM'd and extremely reliable source (TorqueWrench ), and the slip yoke is wrong The PN that I need is 88963576...I'm not sure if that's the updated nickle plated one or what, hopefully it is.

I feel bad for my buddy at the parts dept since I gave him the part number, and had him order a part that he now has to send back...I know that the parts department loses on the shipping that way. Hopefully I can get over to him on Monday and get this sorted out.
