Default Car rant (or any other car for that matter)

Since the inception of the "ricer," we've seen Honda Civic's with Type-R emblems and stickers plastered all over them. Acura Integra's trying to believe they have Type-R Integra's. Nissan 240's putting on Sylvia badges on their cars thinking they are the turbo 2.0 JDM hotness.

My goodness, you don't have that car, and it's in poor taste to dress your car up like that!

Now the move is to add things to your car from other manufacturers designs. One example, BMW has their halo lights. I've seen civics with this, I just read a post about an F-body that did it. And Ebay is full of "kits," for sale.

You want Halo's buy an F'ing BMW.

And Alteeza lights, oh god make it stop.

Okay I'm done. Carry on with your monday morning.

I put HID's in my Tahoe and I like the projector look, but some of the stuff is out of hand. I saw an infinity G35 the had SKYLINE on the back and all the other badges removed.
Now thats lame!

But BMW trucks arnt nearly as good as GM trucks.

Since about the 1920's people have been doing this. Putting 1932 Ford tail lights on your 1934 Chevy for example. Its not going to stop its just gotten tackier now. If the work is done in good taste it will look good.

Swapping a PAINTED Japan spec front end on your Integera is fine because its something that isnt normaly available. Same thing as us putting a Denalli/SS/Escalade front clip on.
Swapping a Japan spec Type-R badge on your Civic is tacky.

Do you see the differece?

The new Skyline is suposed to be based on the G35 I thought. So that would be no worse than the Type R stickers on Civics I guess. Still bad taste to me unless it is a real Skyline.
