I am 16 years old and live in Texas, my dad bought me a BMW M5 brand new for my first car and fully loaded, with the GPS navigation, the wood, the sport seats, deep dish rims, etc. and i got giovanna racing rims but i dont know if i want to put them on cause they look pretty tight in my room. if you are looking for a fast and luxurious car, and have the money, then this is the car you want. i raced my friends Nissan 300zx twin turbo last week and he has been talking sh*t about how he is gonna beat me the whole school year, well i proved him wrong, my car has a stop watch with the onboard computer in it and he came to the finishing point 10 seconds after i was at the finishing line and he told me he had the petal all the way down. This car comes with a standard V-8 5.0 liter 32-valve engine and comes only with a 6 speed standard transmission, but my dad paid to get a automatic transmission but it is still 6 speed and it also has a automatic sports mode and it has a clutchless manuel, where you control when it switches gears but there is no clutch, it is also knowns as steptronic. The speed is electronically limited at 155, but you can illegaly take off the govenor(what electroically limits the speed) and after i took that off of my car i got it up to 240 mph and i know this because i got a huge ticket after the cop radared me.And not only will the speed impress you but also the take off, which BMW is known for, but the interior is nicer than our Diablo.

EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS AWESOME!!!
Weaknesses:
ABSOLUTLY NOTHING AT ALL,AND I AHVE WORKED THIS CAR MORE THAN ANYONE EVER HAS A CAR PERIOD AND IT STILL RUNS LIKE THE FIRST NIGHT I GOT IT.

What a crappy "review". Attention Car & Driver, don't jump at the chance to hire this one.

Yea I love the custom auto in a m5. Great way to ruin a great car... I really hope he dosent know what hes talkn about and that kinda conversion didnt occur.
Id take a m5 anyday they are beauitful cars... its just makes me wonder if this parents want him to die? I mean even if I was rich as **** I wouldent buy my 16 year old a m5 with 400hp.....

, i am almost positive that a m5 does not have an option for an automatic, if this is true i feel sick to my stomach

Yeah, I didn't want to tell you guys this, but I was cruising around in my new Enzo the other day and some young punk in a M5 blew my doors off. 
Maybe I need to get this guy to remove the governor off the Enzo so I can keep up with him

240MPH! LOL, that car has just under 400hp no ****** way.
A Stage 3 from SPG Racing 300ZX TT would blow that M5 away. Even stock if the car was a 5 speed it should have kept up.
The 6 speed auto is called the SMG...Sequential Manual Gearbox which does exist as an option. But I am unsure of it on the M5, I do know the M3 can get it. It uses a manual trans box but uses an electro hydro clutch for the automatic mode.
