Yeah, they want to charge me for a bulliten that they are putting out and say needs to be done....?.... Does this cause problems if I don't have it done and start OnStart back up? Mainly worried about resale honestly, if it has the OnStart feature I would like it to be useable.

I really woulden't worry about it unless you use your Onstar system alot. If you don't, then I'd just let the next person that buys your truck worry about it.

Hi, can you mlook up my truck?
2000 GMC Sierra - 1GTEK14V2YZ227080
a week after I got the recall notice on the tailgate cable problem, both my tailgate cables snapped. Brought it to my dealer, they replaced with stock cables and sent me on my way, but they said they wont have the new updated cables in a few months. Went back in a few months and they said that theres no recall for cables on my truck anymore and wont replace my cabled with the updated ones.
