Bascially they rccome3nd removal of the Thermo. incase it may have some "trash" or "gunk" build up on it. They don't want you to re-contaminate the flused system.

My shop removes the thermostat, by the way.

On the first VIN # you have 2 open re-calls, the Front brake pipe contact and the ol' Tailgate Cables. I'd get both don asap! Othere than that it's really f*ckin' clean...lol.

Hey TW thanks for the info. I was wondering on the second vin where it say's control heater and air replace does that mean the whole a/c was replaced. just wondering my a/c quit on that truck this summer.

What that means is the AC & Heater Control Head in the dash was replaced. IT's quite common actually. I stock one of those control heads for your vehicle...lol.

It says that my intermediate steering shaft was replaced at 41XXX miles on 8/31/2004 (before I bought the truck), but I still have the shaft-clunking. Was the improved shaft not available at that time?
