Well.. with the 4.8L go ahead and get a rear-end (posi) 4.10 gears, a Thunder Racing "tr224" cam... You can find a lot of stuff from Thunderracing.com, summitracing.com is another alright parts supplier... look at the fastest truck list.. ive been lurking

Well i found out how to do it tonight. I pull up next to a L at the light. When the light turned green We both floored it. We stayed side by side till about 50 then i started pulling on him. At 80 i had him by a truck length. Not bad for a big heavy truck. 
To sum it up 6.0. 8psi STS Turbo. My first L kill.
