hey, honestly it will have a higher profit margin and more importantly it will sell more.
and besides, GM is playing catch up. that srt4 neon is honestly a 275 hp at the motor combo. they are pushing nearly 230 hp at the wheels. that turbo is screamin!

I'm not knocking them at all, For under 20,000 there a steal, If you like that sort of thing.

You know what. I bet the aftermarket has those things putting down more power than 90% of us here in the truck section within the first year.
I don't mind cars like that but, I wish GM would listen to us sometimes too.
Lingenfelter was racing a 4 cylinder Ecotec engine with over 1000hp. I know it was modified before someone says that.

Yeah, you can haul more but the srt gets better mpg On the forums there are some that have 500+ hp at the crank. Granted those are few and far between but there out there. Most moderately modded stock turbos are putting out low to mid 3xx's at the dyno. Not bad for a 4 cyl in my eyes.
