Default code P0332

Hello all,long time reader/learner anyhow threw po332 code today knock sensor #2.the thing is i washed engine compartment this weekend and have heard about the intake manafold sealing problem but before i go ripping intake off i would like to know if there is a way to reset code and see if it comes back i do not have any readers edit nothing 60,000 miles nelson tune for 25,000 miles.anyway to be as sure as possiable it is ks.thank you Alan

I got the same code after spraying down my engine compartment down one time, i reset it the next day....after starting it up...about 5 miles down the road the code came up again, but the next day after start up, the code didnt register,....the day after that....it came back up. The code pretty much came up randomly for about a week after the first time it appeared. So I would give it a week or two and if it doesnt go away. I guess your gonna have to replace it or have it blocked in a tune.

is there a way to reset code with out having some kind of scan ware,i tryed disconnecting battery but code is stored in ecm i assume?

i reset mine using a tech 2 scan tool

i dont think disconnecting the battery will work

in case any other new guys are looking for answers to this i bought a manual and the way to check and make sure ks is bad would be to use ohmmeter,measure reistance between terminals on knock sensor on each terminal and the block looking for 90 -100 k-ohms if no pass replace sensor.

fyi went to auto zone and asked them to clear code for me said they are not allowed to, asked if i can borrow scan tool and do it my self and hell ya. he looked the other way and let me at it now that is customer sevice so we will see how long it takes to flag code again.
