Cold air draft in passenger footwell
I'm up in Colorado right now, took the truck on a road trip. I'm getting a very cold air draft in the passenger footwell. Never had this happen on my truck before, but my mom's 2000 Suburban did the same thing and we never figured out how to fix it. Anyone else had this happen? It's very annoying for the front passenger.

Not sure if you have a problem or if you are just feeling the air that comes though the vents normally. You can end outside air entering the cab by selecting the recalculate with the blower motor off.
Chevy has always wanted to circulate the cab air. lol

here we go. I had teh same thing. I thought my wife was crazy the first time she mentioned it. original problem (sounds the same): https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=381616
And the fix. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=383529
What i ended up finding was that there was a small gap between the closing door and the cowl for the recirc condition. the door motor was good and solid, but the fitup of the whole thing left a little to be desired. I followed the instructions in the 2nd link and cut open that panel in the cowel and added some foam weatherstripping for the door to seal up against tightly. Ever since that I haven't heard any cold feet complaints. Hope that helps.
