I will stab you if you don’t tell me

Anyway can you do me a favor and do the same thing for the stock radio? I know it can be done. I just don’t know how to do it. I will pay you to do mine if you are so inclined.
PM me. I would really like proof of concept for the radio being white.

Also thank you for vacuum fluorescent display. I didn’t know what those were called and was having a ******* whale of a time trying to figure it out.

@shakenfake You still have the original radio on your 1999? I thought I was the only one. Mine has cassette on the head unit and had CD on the console. I removed the console for a jump seat and so the CD player is gone. I drovr it over the weekend and pressed the cassette button and it still works! I was jamming. 🤣 some of my lights on the radio have gone out though. 🙄

I had the opposite. CD player in the head and cassette in the console. I have the 03 console so no more cassette. I also switched to an aftermarket head unit but I will be going back to the stock unit with a bluetooth internal upgrade.

VFD for short (sometimes that will bring up Variable Frequency Drives in a search, not the same). The DIC screen is a dot-matrix vfd (it can form letters, numbers, and symbols). The PRND123 screen is an oddball I'm not sure about yet

And I don't have my stock radio in my '02 anymore. It got chunked many moons ago, but I know it can be done

@MagicianElectrician I was talking about my 06 stocker although I believe they are all the same.

Also did you use lighting gels as the film?

Let me know if it tells you the color or gives you an actual picture of it, if you will. Then I'll tell you what I'm using just to see how close they are. Because they are different if you keep the factory blue tint or remove it (somehow, idk).

Oh yeah, I'll take a coke and we'll call it even. I quit drinking

A color of the filter? I think the filter is going to end up being like a rose/pink color.

I still mess with my book of lighting gels all the time, and some work well for that, but the ones I bought are small. Had to do something else
