WOW, so is this why none of our nearly stock trucks kick in till 3000 RPM, it takes 4 seconds to get to that point? let me knwo if you find out something with that tune.

They are supposed to be putting the 6 speeds in the 08's or 9's at the latest, so I hear at least. They already have them shown on the GM Drivetrain page for the Avy's, but I know the Avy's I've seen at the dealer are still 4 speeds.

i am ordering a 6l 2wd 1500 at the end of February, it will take 2 months to get and they should have tuning available by then.

Toyota decided to set the mark for stock performance in full size pickups, noe everyone else will have to top them. I say it's a great thing for everyone.

Yea, that new Tundra is badass...nice looking truck IMO too. I got to see one last Friday when I was working on the Lexus's for our display at the auto show at the Meadowlands Convention Center here in Jersey. (I'm the tech who disables certain features in the cars so people can't honk, hurt, or squirt themselves, and also make the cars run off a 110v inverter so they can be powered up all day w/o using the vehicle's battery). I'll be going back tomorrow to break em down and make em run again. I basically got to see the whole show for free without any crowds...and got paid (It's a relatively small show though). OK, didn't mean to get so far

I just got the Tundra brochure from the dealer, is says the 5.7 iForce engine will be an available option in the
Regular Cab Short Bed. I'd really like to see what 1/4 mile times that truck is gonna turn.

Looks like it's already made,

Someone on another forum made it sound like it's going to be available in a special edition Tundra call the Baja Edition w/ 580 HP ???,, Don't know if this is all BS.

here is the link: http://www.tundrasolutions.com/photo...hp/photo/37227

Also read on that site that the RCSB 5.7 iForce - 6 speed auto, is going to start at $24,380.
