some of that fix all is really expensive, like over a hundred bucks. i dont know if i want to spend that. even though its "guaranteed" to work. but i really see no other choice, since i havent been able to pinpoint the leak.

Nope. That's why stock mufflers have weep holes in them. Lets the condensation that collects, drip out the bottom. Your mufflers are holding the moisture inside, collecting in the bottom of the mufflers. Then you start the engine, or rev it up, and some (not all) of that water gets pushed out with the exhaust gasses.

my 2004 was doing kinda the same thing, if you looked at the front of the pump or even from the top of it,I could not see any water leaks, pulled it off and the whole back of it was wet and leaking.

1) Have a pressure check performed.
2) Put the dye in the coolant and check for external leaks that way
You said the heads were off at some time. How long ago was that? Did you get the system full of coolant afterwards? Properly burped all the air out?
If your coolant keeps going low and no external leaks can be identified, then it is going into the crankcase - somewhere, somehow.
My leak was ongoing for seven months. No external leaks. No milkshake on the dipstick. No milkshake even when I changed the oil (after 3 months of first sign of leak). Oil still look good. It wasn't until it started leaking at a greater rate that another sign showed up - the oil level light came on. Why? because the coolant gelled up the oil and weighed down the sensor. Still, the oil was black, everywhere except for the driver side rocker area: milkshake.
