Not sure where to ask this..... I purchased some 317 heads for my LS1 F.I. build. I am trying to find what coolant sensor belongs in these heads. O'Reiley's says it's the same sensor as 241 heads (Stock LS1) and from looking at the part number list on this site, confirms that. However the sensor is too Small for the hole!!! Is there another sensor that came in some 317s?? The holes are the same size on both heads, which seems to be about 1/4" bigger than the thread on the sensor I was told to purchase. (BWD WT5132 which should be the same as GM 15326388). Thanks

Sounds like the sensor they gave you is not the right part number. I'd return it and try another parts store.

 

Try looking for a sensor for an 03+ truck with a 6.0...I believe they had the 317 heads on them, and may run a different sensor.
