Cooper Tires?
Cooper Zeon tires any good or anyone have any experience with them?
I bought a set of 305/45/22 for my incoming rims and these are what they had in stock. Got them for $999/set. All the other tire places I would have had to order tires like Kumho, Nitto, etc. and I didnt really feel like waiting 3-4 days to get them.
The ones I bought have a reinforced sidewall to prevent rim bends, the guy let me feel the difference between the Cooper sidewall and the Kumho sidewall and you could tell a huge difference between the two.

I think the reinforced sidewall is for load bearing more than rim protection. I've got the Kumhos (just bought a second set) and they have reinforced sidewalls as well.

i see a lot of coopers on stock size wheels. never on 20's. i have heard they hug the road very well. but none of the trucks i seen them on could turn the stock tires over so i couldn't tell you how the grip from a zero punch would be. they look pretty good tho.
Not to get off track, i was in wal-mart and seen some douglas tires that had an outstanding looking tread pattern. however, i dont' know how they hooked. price was ok too.

I've been looking at some Cooper Zeon's too, but in a 275/45/20. My rims just came in and I really need to find a set of tires for them. I wanted Nitto's, but they don't make this size. I'm considering Cooper, Hankook, & Falken at the moment but I'm open to suggestions. I want something that hooks well, looks good, and handles well in rain.

my falkens handle well in the rain except for take off. they spin easily. also, they aren't hooking quite as well as i would like on dry pavement. i can spin them easily with 1/4 throttle. this is a 275/70/16 size tho. your size might provide more contact patch for the pavement.
