Thanks for the info. I'm sure someone has bought a cowl hood on here and knows for sure.

I've never even seen one of their hoods with cladding on it.

But let's face it, if your hood doesn't have cladding on it, then you should buy the one they sell without out.

Well I been building trucks for years and still dont know what body cladding is (other than like what the ss's and denili's have on the side) and why it would be on a cowl hood.

You need the hood with out the Cladding. The basic model Avalanche (like mine) is referred to as WBH or without body hardware.. The entire front end is interchangeable with the Silverado. The "cladded " model is the plastic armor on the Av's. That design is completly a one off model.Hood is recessed in the front to accodimate the pulled back recessed front end as the sides are lipped tighter for the custom Av fenders. Hope this helps. #7

Just an FYI for all you Silverados.. The WBH Avalanche is entirely interchangeable with Silvy's. except the chassis. the chassis is a Suburban.. Hope this helps..#7

Thanks #7 that's what I needed to know. So pretty much all silverado's never came with the body cladding right?

"Cladding" only refers to Avalanches.
